Rockets Owner Tilman Fertitta Admits Team Was Afraid of Warriors; Not Afraid of Lakers or Clippers (2/26/20)

The Golden State Warriors were absolute juggernauts the past few years and while the Houston Rockets were super close to taking them out in the Western Conference Finals, they still fell to the Warriors in 7. Interestingly enough, Rockets owner in Tilman Fertitta spoke with the Austin American-Salesman and went as far as saying that the team was scared of the Warriors in years past but don't have that same fear for the other strong Western Conference teams this year.

"None of us fear L.A. (the Lakers) or the Clippers or Denver like we feared Golden state. It's not like how we were scared of them."

An interesting thing to say considering how we was raving about how the Rockets weren't actually scared of Golden State a few years ago. How things change...
